Crypto Conglomerate DCG Closes Wealth-Management Business: The Information

Digital Currency Group, the cryptocurrency conglomerate whose Genesis Global Trading division just announced more layoffs, has closed a wealth-management division called HQ Digital, according to The Information.

The article, which cited a memo sent to a customer, also reported that HQ had more than $3.5 billion of assets under management.

A spokesperson for DCG, which is also the parent company of CoinDesk, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
